A Birthday Gift Donation is when the party-giver suggests on the invitation, to donate money to a charity in lieu of giving a gift to the honored guest.  Invitations often say, "No Gifts, Please", only to disappoint those who love to give gifts.  This is an opportunity for the extremely generous, to willingly give up gifts to benefit those who truly are in need. 

For Thoroughbred Charities of America, the gratitude of the charities under our "umbrella" cannot be described in words...but if you could see the Thoroughbreds transition into their second careers and the faces of the backstretch workers, mounted handicapped children and scholarship recipients, you would know the joy of giving life.
