ReRun.org
If you were looking for a horse, and you pulled up to this unassuming equine rescue and rehabilitation center, just outside Lynchburg, Virginia, they'd tell you to pull up a chair, put your feet up on the coffee table and if it gets late, to just stay over in their guest room. Comfort and individual attention is what the horses get and the potential adopters are no different. Care is taken all around to find you the perfect horse and for the horse, the perfect human!

Kelly riding Regal Command
The daily chore list reads something like this: feeding, watering, riding, cleaning, ordering, kissing…what? Oh yes, these horses are kissed and hugged. Within a week of arrival the horses know they can expect kisses and pull their heads up for their hug, so their blankets can be fastened.

Find Your Treasure
There is Regal Command, the reluctant racehorse, who now does three-day events including dressage, stadium jumping and any thoroughbred's favorite, cross-country racing. There is Find The Treasure, an ambitious and successful thoroughbred who was given up due to a suspensory injury. Healed with time, this horse has carried off many show ribbons. There is the most crooked horse you've ever seen, rescued after injected with female hormones deemed to kill him. Eyes For Jeannie now is a children's companion horse, and almost a person. Cookie Monster just got adopted by a military couple after healing his fractured seismoid and is now on a military base giving gentle rides to the officer's children.
Paul receives a Lexi-hug
The great people who run this Virginia operation are committed to their horses and each other. Paul and Kelly Linn met through Kelly's adoption search and have now been married for 3 years. So it's horses, kids, kisses and hugs and thoroughbreds everywhere can be thankful operations like these are there for them. Please consider a donation to Thoroughbred Charities of America as a thank you to these facilities and a vote to keep them going. Call today to make a donation: 859-312-5531
